Acharyashriji attends JAINA Convention 2019

Acharyashriji attends JAINA Convention 2019

The theme of this 20th Biennial JAINA Convention was “Jain Religion in the 21st century, highlighting Seva (Humanitarian Service), Satsang (Study of Jain Principles), Samarpan (Faith and Surrender), Sadhna (Spiritual Development) and Self-Realization.

The theme was exactly what Pujya Tai Ma has been practicing and promoting for the last 50 plus years. As we all know about how our Pujya Tai Ma teaches and delivers her message and answers questions whether they are simple or complex or for young or old - it is for sure that it is always very well received!

At this Jaina convention, it was another chance to witness Pujya Tai Ma, Sadhvi Shilapiji and Sadhvi Sanghamitraji delivering their sermons and the attendees at the Jaina Convention receiving it wholeheartedly. Pujya Tai Ma shared her thoughts on humanity and the humanitarian work that she has been doing for the last 5 decades all around the globe. Sadhvi Sanghamitraji with her melodious voice delivered her message about Seva and Sadhvi Shilapiji shared about the meaning of Seva and Sadhana at a deeper level. Our Veerayatan Sadhvijis were given the podium for the opening ceremony and for the closing ceremony. Sadhvi Sanghamitraji as usual mesmerized thousands of people who were there for the opening ceremony with her beautiful Stuti and bhakti geet. Sadhvi Shilapiji touched many hearts with a thought-provoking message on how to weave Seva and Sadhana in their day to day life. Jay Jain once again amazed the attendees with his "Avadhan Gyan (Satavdhan)".

Acharyashriji at the Veerayatan Booth with Shri Mukeshbhai Turakhia (Veerayatan Intl President) and Shri Satishbhai Shah (Veerayatan Intl Treasurer)

It was just amazing to see how after every lecture the crowd poured in at our Veerayatan booth for further inquiries about our Veerayatan projects and activities. Many youngsters came forward to volunteer their time and service to contribute toward the efforts of humanitarian work. It was heartwarming to see how some of girls decided to celebrate their birthdays by raising funds for the students of Palitana school. Mukeshbhai Gandhi's effort to organize the booth and be present at the booth for 10 to 12 hours a day for 3 days consecutively really helped to carry forward the mission and vision of Veerayatan.
