Over 100 students of TMVM, Pawapuri participated in the Orange Education Global Olympiad tests for Science and Mathematics and qualified for the National level exams. These tests are not just examining what the children remember but also their understanding and the application of the knowledge, thus assessing the higher-level knowledge and skills which leads to deeper learning. Congratulations to all the successful participants who really excelled at this event. The students of TMVM Pawapuri and Lachhaur also produced splendid academic results in the end of year exams.

  • a ’Blood Donation Camp’
  • a communal harmony one-day excursion trip to spread the message of unity-in-diversity and religious tolerance; and not least
  • to break the monotony of academic routine Veerayatan Institute of Engineering organized a 5 day Sports and Cultural Event - ‘Veerotsav’ - to give 1200 students the opportunity to practice their management skills, display their physical stamina and demonstrate creativity.

The youths of today, the leaders of tomorrow!

With enthusiasm, with humility and with a smile, mingling with the guests and energies flowing at a high all throughout the evening, the youth teachers (aged 15-18) of Shri Chandana Vidyapeeth Jain School, North London put together a charity fund raising event to raise monies for two causes close to their heart – Veerayatan Nepal and Debra UK (a charity which supports people suffering from a skin condition, Epidermolysis Bullosa).

SCVP South London – Imparting Learning

SCVP, South London has been meeting for learning sessions every Saturday morning since 1999, classes which were initiated by a handful of parents who were waiting while their children were attending the local SCVP weekly classes! As the interest of these parents in Jainism blossomed, a dedicated weekly class led by Dr Harshadbhai Sanghrajka incorporating training of SCVP South London teachers was held from 2005.
