Friendship without boundaries

Friendship without boundaries

Bhagwan Mahavir’s words - Metti me Savva Bhuesu - were deeply etched in Pujya Tai Ma’s heart. At its essence, this teaching reminds us that all life is interconnected, and it is our duty to serve humanity, uphold justice, and protect all living beings from violence and suffering.

Every living being received the same warmth, love, and respect from Tai Ma - whether human, animal, or plant, whether rich or poor, young or old, from a high caste or a marginalised background.

Her guiding philosophy was simple yet profoundly powerful:

Create peace by extending friendship to all and give every individual the opportunity to fulfil their highest potential.

Whether someone came seeking comfort, guidance, courage, or simply a listening ear, Tai Ma welcomed them not only into her space, but into her heart. Anyone could approach her. She listened without judgment, guided without imposing, and supported without expecting anything in return.

She made everyone feel special.

And seen…

No work is small

One of Tai Ma’s most enduring teachings was that no work is insignificant.

Whether she was:

every action was carried out with the same humility, care, and dedication.

Through her own daily example, she dissolved the boundaries between “big” and “small”, teaching us that what truly matters is the purity of intent and the sincerity of effort with which any work is done. It is this which makes every act sacred.
