With the blessings of Pujya Tai Ma, Sadhvi Shri Shilapiji’s visit to London took place in March 2025, a visit which was very much looked forward to by all as an opportunity to be spiritually uplifted.
With her eloquence and practical approach, Sadhvi Shri Shilapiji’s presence turned out to be hugely energising, inspiring, and spiritually elevating for people from all walks of life. With her boundless energy, Sadhvi Shri Shilapiji, in her short two-week visit, delivered enlightening discourses, a weekend retreat, communicated the achievements of Veerayatan and connected with Veerayatan supporters (old and new) - in each case with her innate clarity and powerful words of wisdom, she presented and inspired audiences with practical takeaways to make it relevant to today’s society and to each individual. Sadhviji was accompanied by Sadhvi Shri Sumedhaji, who shared amazing stories and sang prayers melodiously to the delight of the audiences.
Over four public discourses in collaboration with Oshwal Association, Navnat Vadil Mandal, Young Jains and Mahavir Foundation, Sadhvi Shri Shilapiji gave stimulating and inspiring talks on diverse topics that are very relevant in today’s troubled times: Harnessing the Mind for Spiritual Growth, Inner Peace and Self Confidence, The Art of Effective Leadership and Pearls of Wisdom.
The weekend retreat was set in a tranquil and peaceful atmosphere and attended by nearly 100 people, who were mesmerised as they saw Sadhvi Shri Shilapiji, in her lucid manner and with her deep clarity and elevated knowledge, unpeel layers of the profound text, ‘Patanjali Yoga Darshan’.
Sadhvi Shri Shilapiji also attended the Shri Chandana Vidyapeeth (SCVP) Jain School assembly where the children from all the classes showcased their talents and there was general appreciation by all of the Sadhvi Sangh at Veerayatan for allowing accessible and practical learning of our beautiful faith. During the trip, Sadhvi Shri Shilapiji made time to meet with all the teachers, committee and trustees, acknowledging the progress made in all areas of SCVP Jain School and the events and activities of Veerayatan UK.
The grand finale was an amazing event in the esteemed presence of leaders from various Jain organisations, Veerayatan supporters, parents and children, where Sadhvi Shri Shilapiji took all through the incredible vision of Pujya Tai Ma and Veerayatan’s extraordinary journey of Seva, Shiksha and Sadhana. It was truly inspiring and moving to hear of Veerayatan’s tremendous humanitarian effort over the last 50 years at different centres worldwide and how Pujya Tai Ma and all the Sadhvijis have put into practice Mahavir Bhagwan’s philosophy of helping others and making a huge difference to millions of lives.
