Ninety Golden Years of Service, Spiritual Practice, and Compassion

During this historic celebration, the entire Veerayatan Palitana campus appeared as a vibrant confluence of devotion, service, and joyful energy. Children immersed themselves wholeheartedly in dance rehearsals for Tai Ma, teachers attended to final arrangements, doctors and staff at the eye hospital prepared for the free eye camps, patients waited with hope and faith, and decorators worked late into the night adorning the campus with lights and colours.

As morning arrived, Veerayatan transformed into a living festival space - every face filled with anticipation, every heart with joy - awaiting the two-day celebration of Tai Ma’s 90th birthday.

And then came the auspicious moment. As Tai Ma, radiant with love, compassion, and inner strength, entered the gathering, the entire venue echoed with warm applause. Reverence filled the eyes of devotees, emotion filled their hearts, and minds longed to bow at her sacred feet. Even aged ninety, Tai Ma’s presence reflects the same clarity, alertness, and far-sighted vision - constantly seeking new ways to uplift lives and open fresh pathways of service. Age has never been a boundary for her. Her boundless compassion, motherly warmth, and her love embraces everyone she encounters. For all who come into her presence, the experience is deeply enriching.

For the children of Tirthankar Mahavir Vidya Mandir, Tai Ma is not merely a spiritual guide, but a mother, an ideal, and a living inspiration. They say, “We want to become like Tai Ma” - an environmentalist, a transformer of lives, one who creates opportunities for change and extends a helping hand to all in need, be it humans, animals, plants.

Spending two full days in Tai Ma’s presence became a source of profound joy and inner enrichment for everyone. With reverence, we bow at her feet and pray for her continued health and long life.
