Gyan Pancham Celebrations

With the blessings of Pujya Tai Ma and Sadhvi Shri Shilapiji, we had a wonderful, peaceful and thought-provoking in-person and online programme for Gyan Pancham at our school . The importance and significance of Gyan Pancham was explained very clearly with the focus on respecting and acquiring knowledge.

There were lots of wonderful take away messages for all in not only attaining and respecting knowledge, but also putting in effort to drive spiritual growth. Spiritual knowledge is the one thing which we take with us from one life to the next – so it is important to cultivate this in our lives. All positive knowledge that helps us to live our lives beautifully, helping one and all, is worthy of respect. We should also respect our academic knowledge which not only gives us the knowledge we need to progress in life, but it also teaches us the skills and behaviours which we should imbibe to achieve our goals. The children were amazing when sharing a powerful skit on the importance of effort in acquiring knowledge but also applying that knowledge practically with discernment. At the end everyone had the opportunity to participate in the Gyan Pancham ceremony by performing the poojan on our revered scriptures.
