A Heartfelt Tribute from the Singapore Jain Religious Society

Our heartfelt Vandan and Shraddhanjali at the lotus feet of Pujya Acharya Shriji.

With folded hands and deep gratitude, the members of the Singapore Jain Religious Society (SJRS) offer our heartfelt Shraddhanjali to Pujya Acharya Shriji, our beloved Tai-Ma.

To us, Tai-Ma was a warm and compassionate motherly presence whose blessings we felt even from afar in Singapore. Her Deh-Vilay leaves a quiet emptiness in our hearts, yet it also fills us with gratitude for having been touched by her grace. Through the noble work of Veerayatan, Tai-Ma showed us that spirituality is most beautifully expressed through seva and compassion. Her tireless efforts brought education to children, dignity through healthcare to the underprivileged, and strength and self-reliance to countless women. For many, she was a guiding light; for us, she was a living reminder of how simply and lovingly dharma can be lived.

We in Singapore have been especially blessed to remain connected to her through all the Sadhvijis of Veerayatan, whose visits, lectures, and Shibirs have nurtured our Sangh with her teachings and spirit. During our Samet Shikharji Tirth Yatra in January 2025, her loving hospitality made us feel truly at home. Many of us also continue to cherish the memory of receiving her darshan during our visit to Veerayatan in 2015.

What touched many was her gentle yet powerful message: “Muskan se Moksh”. In those simple words, she showed us that a smile born from inner peace and compassion is itself a step towards liberation. This teaching continues to guide us in our daily lives.

Tai-Ma’s presence lives on in every act of kindness, every moment of seva, and every smile we share. On behalf of SJRS, we offer our deep gratitude for her blessings and pray that we may continue to walk the path she illuminated, with Maitri (friendship), Karuna (compassion), Pramod (appreciation) and a gentle smile.

With folded hands
