A Heartfelt Homage

The revered Padma Shri Pujya Chandana Mata Ji, the guiding spirit and motherly force behind Veerayatan, has attained Nirvana. First and foremost, I offer my respectful obeisance upon her attainment of Nirvana.

By embodying the teachings of Bhagwan Mahavir in her conduct and way of life, Pujya Mata Ji dedicated her entire life to a higher purpose. Following the ideals of Bhagwan Mahavir, she established numerous institutions and initiated a wide range of humanitarian service projects. She devoted her whole life to the service of humanity and the welfare of society.

When I had the opportunity to deliver discourses at Veerayatan for ten days some years back, we all experienced her extraordinary affection, compassion, and motherly warmth. She also inspired and engaged many seekers and sadhvis in these noble service activities.

Just recently, on her birthday in Palitana, I had the opportunity to spend some time in her company. At that time, I could never have imagined that she would leave us so soon. Although she is no longer physically present among us, her consciousness, values and ideals continue to inspire and illuminate countless lives.

Through these humble words, I offer my heartfelt tribute to Pujya Mata Ji.
