First and foremost, we want to thank Pujya Tai Ma for having the vision to create the beautiful Veerayatan. Pujya Tai Ma has been an inspiration to all of us. Her heart touching stories, courage and compassion is absolutely matchless. We cannot express in words how fortunate we are to know and connect with such a divine personality. Thank you, Pujya Tai Ma! Thank you so much.

Now we would like to thank Sadhvi Shri Shilapiji for taking care of us and organising this whole trip so passionately from very minute details such as food menus to drinking water, accommodation and the whole itinerary and answering all our questions with so much clarity. Her insightful question and answer sessions, her kindness and patience while addressing our doubts and questions about life, Jainism, and self-improvement has left a lasting impact on us.

Our special thank you and deep appreciation to Sadhvi Sumedhaji, Sadhvi Manasviji and Sadhvi Pranitiji for helping us in every small thing and for their continuous guidance which made our trip so smooth and comfortable. We cherished every moment with all the Sadhvijis and learnt so much in the space of a week.

We also want to thank the teachers, students and everyone at Veerayatan for welcoming us with open arms and embracing our attempts to teach despite our not-so-coherent Gujarati. From the amazing welcome to playing with the children on sports day. It was heart-warming to see how quickly the children picked up the subjects we taught them, be it Maths, English, science, kabaddi, cricket, spelling, or geography using Google Earth. We even explored the mysteries of the solar system, learning an acronym to remember the planets together.

The kindness and generosity we experienced here in Veerayatan Kutch was truly exceptional. Everyone took care of us beyond our expectations, and we are incredibly grateful to Veerayatan for this. The peaceful life we led here, surrounded by nature and the warm people, will be etched in our hearts forever. And how can we forget the mouth-watering food, especially the delicious mango ras? We will surely miss it! Our time spent here has been filled with incredible moments and fond memories. We will miss everyone dearly, including the friendly smiles of the people and even the smiling dog (though not the lizards!).

As we bid farewell today, we promise to return soon. And when we come back, we won’t be guests anymore; we will be part of this wonderful family at Veerayatan. Whilst we are sad to leave, we know these memories will remain with us for a lifetime. We wish you all the very, very best, and until we meet again, let’s stay connected through the bond of love and friendship!
