Students of Shri Chandana Vidyapeeth UK visit Kutch

With the blessings and inspiration of Pujya Tai Ma, Sadhvi Shri Shilapiji initiated Shri Chandana Vidyapeeth (SCVP) in the UK which has been imparting high values of Jainism in the families of devotees since 1995. Since this time, many students and teachers of SCVP have been visiting the Veerayatan Centres in India, not only to connect with the culture but to also try to understand the true meaning of religion in the presence of Pujya Tai Ma and the Sadhvijis. And by spending time with Vidyapeeth students, they have also experienced Veerayatan's vision and mission in a practical way.

Recently five students of SCVP - Diya, Mihir, Meera, Yash and Aashi - visited Veerayatan Kutch. The campus, which was already filled with the energetic vibes of the start of the new academic year, the refreshing rainy season and an abundance of greenery became even more alive with the arrival of these volunteers from the UK. They were warmly welcomed with drums, the school band, flowers and tilaks. The students of Veerayatan Kutch were extremely excited to meet their new friends. Sadhvi Shri Shilapiji had planned many activities to make it a fruitful, interesting and memorable stay for the visitors. The volunteers spent every moment of their short visit with great enthusiasm. They took classes, played with the students, had religious discussions with Sadhviji, spent quality time with Rudrani school students and offered them gifts. On the last day of their stay, a Sports Day was organized in the school in which everyone participated with great enthusiasm.

Expressing their gratitude for the mission of 'Compassion in Action' introduced by Pujya Tai Ma, they said that they are fortunate to be associated with Veerayatan and pledged to be committed to this noble cause of transforming lives.
