Gujarati Association of Kuala Lumpur and Selangor Malaysia

– by Bhashkar Chitalia, President

On behalf of the Gujarati Association of Kuala Lumpur and Selangor, Malaysia and our entire community, we extend our deepest condolences on the profound loss of your revered Founder, Acharya Shri Chandana Ji Mahasatiji. She was a truly exceptional spiritual leader who dedicated her entire life to uplifting the poor and upholding the noble values of Jainism.

As the Founder and head of the world-renowned Veerayatan, she nurtured, guided, and expanded the organisation with a singular vision - to create peace by fostering friendship among all and by providing opportunities for every individual to realise their fullest potential, irrespective of caste, religion, gender, or economic background.

Acharya Shri Ji embodied boundless compassion, motherly warmth, and selfless care. Her life was a shining example of service, humility, and inclusiveness, touching countless lives across the world. We are especially grateful for the affection and cooperation she consistently extended to our Association.

Under her inspiring leadership, Sadhvi Shri Shilapiji and other Sadhvijis visited Malaysia on several occasions, strengthening the spiritual bond between Veerayatan and our members/families who hold the organisation in the highest regard for its noble contributions.

We fondly recall our recent pilgrimage of 172 pilgrims to Shikharji, during which we had the privilege of staying at Veerayatan Rajgir. The opportunity to participate in Satsang and to witness the remarkable humanitarian work at the hospital left a lasting impression on all of us

In this moment of great loss, we pray to the Almighty to grant eternal peace to her divine soul. May her legacy continue to inspire and guide Veerayatan in its noble mission for generations to come.
